Options Counseling

Since 1994, Anchor of Hope client advocates have counseled thousands of women, offering them hope and unconditional acceptance as they face unplanned pregnancies.  Reliable and relevant information is provided. Clients are encouraged to carry the child to term, but assured that they can come to Anchor of Hope for ongoing support no matter what choice is made.  We refer women to community resources for housing, education, and medical help as needed. Above all things, the Gospel is shared in word and deed.

Post-Abortion Support

Many women suffer remorse from past abortions.  Often, the pain of losing the child is overwhelming.  Women may feel there is no real way to move out of the darkness of abortion’s aftermath.  PACE (Post Abortion Care and Education) is a 10-week program that uses Linda Cocchrane's Bible study “Forgiven and Set Free.” The PACE program is available in small groups, or with an individual peer counselor.

Men suffer from abortion, too.  Often their way of dealing with the pain can be very different from women.  Therefore, we provide men with a program designed specifically for their needs.  “Healing a Father’s Heart” is a companion study for men and is available on an individual basis with a male peer counselor.
